My Journey to Weight Loss

My weight loss journey has mimicked a yo-yo for over a year. I've lost up to 23lbs and gained it back. I'd go periods of an intense gym or at home working out, and the next thing I know I'm back to cream filled pies, fried chicken and Oreos and letting fitness videos watch me. It's so hard especially when you don't have a solid support system, but I've decided that I'm going to say, "screw a support system!" Meaning, so what if you don't have anyone rooting you on and pushing you when time gets tough. At the end of the day, this is YOUR journey. YOU will be the one crying, fighting and praying to God that by next summer you'll be able to wear that bathing suit you put away YEARS ago. At the end of the day, you either want it or you don't. Well, I want it. I have blamed the 'extra' on my babies; My youngest is 2. I'm going to try my best not to bore you. This isn't a "How to Lose Weight" section, otherwise I'd already be snatched. I'm hoping that I can encourage someone. I'm going to be real and raw. No facades here. I'll be your support system. If you don't have anyone in your corner, you can come to my little corner of the blogosphere and we can cry, sweat and struggle together. I'll take all of the help I can get.

Please feel free to leave tips, links to sites about health and wellness, etc. Comments will be enabled so I encourage you all to share your thoughts, feelings and experiences with me and others. Good luck!
