Happy Halloween!

We didn't do much for Halloween this year. The plan was to go trick-or-treating for a couple of hours and then go to our church's Harvest Festival. We spent the earlier part of the day at the salon. Travell, TJ and my sister got their locs twisted After that we did a bit of shopping for the babies (They are not babies. They are huge grown little people who eat all of my food). It started snowing as we left the mall so trick-or-treating was out of the question. To make matters worse we ran out of gas on our way home.

I have no clue as to why he didn't listen to me when I told him to put gas in the car THAT MORNING, but needless to say he didn't, lol. A nice man took him to get gas, but the battery had died because we kept trying to start the car. A tow-truck eventually came and gave us a jump. It was so cold out, but luckily the babies were suited and booted with hoodies and winter coats. The blessing was that the guy didn't even charge us the $25 for the jump. He was going to tell his boss that someone else came by and helped us. When Travell went to give him the money he tried to give it back. I am so proud of my man, because he told the guy to put it in his pocket when he could have put it back in his own. God is seriously working on him. I am so grateful for humbling moments...

Melanie was an angel and the boys were the black Power Ranger. I didn't spend too much on their costumes, but please believe that they will be wearing them an pajamas, lol. We ended up staying home and chowing down on candy while sipping on hot cocoa with marshmellows. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes played as our eyes grey heavy and we all passed out in the living room. Great night!
